  Should Pixel die in the rewrite of Chapter 27?

  Okay chapter 27 and 28 weren't as well received as I hoped (especially chapter 28). I'll readily admit I made some mistakes with them so I'm going to rewrite them in order to fix those mistakes. In the new version, Pixel will be the one to be shredded by Natura instead of Gerhardt. So should she die in chapter 28 while Gerhardt is trying to fix her? Or should she live but suffer some sort of complication like Gerhardt did in the original version? I'm asking because I would rather avoid

  Demigod experiments question.

  So I'm thinking in the next chapter I'll have Gerhardt conduct an experiment in an attempt to use what he learned from scanning Celestia and Luna to use necromancy to create the soul of a demigod.   Time skip?

  I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with filler to pad out the story, as you may have been able to tell by the past couple of chapters. So I'm thinking of having a bit of a time skip a couple of months ahead all the way to winter. Would you guys mind if I did so?
