Cuomo of NY has admitted the real death rate is likely 0.5% or less and up to 21% of the population of NYC has likely ALREADY HAD IT AND RECOVERED WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT!! Time to open up, people. You can believe it was just a paranoid overreaction, you can believe it was a globalist conspiracy, but by now it's clear there's absolutely no reason to keep us all in house arrest anymore. Not with 1/5th of the population already having fought off Coronachan. A new study just showed hydroxychloroquine is 91% effective at treating serious cases, and now we have an antiviral approved that's effective at reducing recovery time. So, we know 85% of those infected won't even show symptoms, we know who's at greatest risk... mostly the elderly who aren't working anyway... and we now have TWO drugs to treat serious cases, with several more entering phase 2 trials in the coming weeks. Time to open back up, and start getting to the bottom of why China and the WHO lied to the whole planet for so long.
Africa's not locked down. They also have terrible infrastructure, limited medical care, and rampant poverty, the worst in the world. And yet subsaharan Africa has very few cases of THE CHINESE CORONAVIRUS THAT ORIGINATED IN THE WUHAN LABORATORY, EAT IT YOU COMMIE BASTARDS!!
Anyway, on to Africa's amazing numbers: The country of South Africa has the most cases, but still WAYYYYYYYYY below Western nations, with 2783, mainly due to the Chinese worker population who brought it there. The next highest country in the southern 2/3 of Africa is Cameroon... with only 1017 cases out of 25 million people.
Compare that with Spain: 47 million people and 192,000 cases. Europe is averaging something like 90 times the per capita infection rates of central and southern AFRICA!!
You can also look at Ghana, a country with a population density slightly higher than Spain's: 263/sq mi. Out of 31 million people in Ghana, a tightly-packed country in central Africa... there are only 834 cases and 9 deaths. The Cote d'Ivoire, bordering Ghana: only 742 cases and 6 deaths out of 24 million people. It's like this all throughout the southern 2/3 of Africa, even in the densest countries.
But even more stunning is when you look at India: in the second-largest population on the planet (1.35 BILLION PEOPLE!!), and one of the most densely-packed nations of all with over 1000 people per sq mi (19th in the world)... they only have 14,793 cases and 496 deaths. And they're just taking basic precautions, and the disease isn't spreading!
Clearly the EU and USA did something wrong, and Africa and India did something right! THE SHUTDOWNS DIDN'T WORK!! Do you know why we in the West have so many cases? Too much international travel. Especially from China. We absolutely know for a fact the Chinese blocked travel from Wuhan to the rest of China... while still allowing visibly sick people to fly internationally to Western nations. Try to convince me they didn't DELIBERATELY spread this virus!
The ban on travel from China is why the Western USA isn't as bad as NY and NJ right now. Alas, we didn't know it had already infested Italy and Spain so severely until it was too late, and so the Northeast is bearing the brunt of cases as the NYC metropolitan area has the bulk of direct travel from Europe at this time of year.
If China were actually communist it would have imploded by now. What was wrong with "totalitarian dictatorship" that we had to use a completely different and incorrect word? The 'separation of church and state' leftists have NO PROBLEM with Minneapolis allowing the Islamic prayers to be broadcast via huge PUBLIC SPEAKERS across the city, but Christian churches that have a small radio broadcast to people who pull up in the church parking lot had to be disbanded, and others threatened with arrest if they came to church.
