The real truth behind the Coronavirus... · 2:04am Mar 27th, 2020

This is so, so sad.
Take this disease seriously everyone.
Saying that it is not a big of a deal, look at the problems that the hospitals are having.
It is big deal everyone!

If you don't take this very seriously and say to me that it's not that big of a deal, I will think very lowly of you because it's pretty serious!!!
Look at the death rates of Spain and Italy. They are getting their asses beaten!!!

I advise you ALL to watch this video to get a real sense of what they're dealing with and what they're having trouble with!!!!!!!!

I do not own this video! It belongs to its respective owners!

Yeah, It's sad. Many should have heed the warnings or reacted sonner

I can't help but feel madness,
all those people traveling created this mess of sadness

5229506
Yes, they should have but they didn't.

5229507
Yup. If people were a little more smarter, this probably wouldn't happen.

5229513
And now, we all pay the price for it

5229518
Mmhmm! This disease is freaking serious and I do mean it.

If someone says to me that this is not serious, then I think very lowly of them because they're not taking this very seriously.

5229521
Yup.

It's pretty bad In my personal opinion.

5229524
Agreed. Funny though, I can get behind the disinfectant hamster purchases, but what up with the toilet paper?:unsuresweetie:

can't people see people have died from this virus and people just don't get it though their heads that this is serious

5229526
Yes! I agree with you on that because it is serious. Look at Spain and Italy! They're suffering like crap over there!

My boyfriend, Bradybunch, he said to me that it's not that serious but IT IS!!

Damn Brady!!!!

Sorry for my temper! I am just angry about this and slightly upset at him for personal reasons.

5229525
Well, people go to the bathroom but I still don't get it! A local store that me and my Dad went to today had none!
My Dad calls people Coronavirus zombies because of their hording!

5229534
He is well humored! I always get annoyed but I also laugh! XD

5229543
HAHAHAHA! XD

Having a great time during this Carzyness is pretty good on me!

5229554
And I'll look at your pm later because I am busy with other things. Sorry!

I am getting so fed up with people saying that it is no big deal. IT IS A BIG DEAL. People are dying every day. More and more people are getting sick every day. I just want everyone to stay level headed about this, take it seriously and stay safe. To whoever reads this comment, please stay safe.

5229570
YES, I FUCKING AGREE WITH YOU!!!
It's fucking serious Godamn it!!
Pardon my French!
I have told my boyfriend about this.

We're halfway to the million mark already and it has been like, huh, almost five fucking mouths!!!!!

5229573
I know!! It either people freak out or don’t take this seriously!!!
COME ON PEOPLE!!!!

Calm down.

As long as we approach this calmly and maturely; we will weather this.
The worst thing we can do in the face of any obstical is panic.
Yes, we need to take this seriously, but there is a point where we stop being productive.

5229561
Its fine. Just hope it isn't too much for You

It's not that I'm not taking it seriously; I'm hearing this story everyday. I know that so many people are dying because of this disease (Not just in America), I know hospitals can't afford to take 'all' their patients because they themselves don't want to be sick, I'm aware most people are forced to remain at home and not being able to go to work, I get the economy is going through a bit of a struggle, and few of us we'll be lucky if the government sends a check as compensation for our part. But here's the thing with me:

I don't want to spend the rest of my life scared of what 'could' happen.

I'm a librarian and while I 'can' do some telework at home (Which I'm lucky the university provided me a VPN to make it possible), my duty is in the library. It is my desire to be 'there' so I can handle the microfiche projects that I still have to finish, I still have books I need to order from companies like 'Baker & Taylor', 'InGram', possibly even 'GOBI', and most of the other work I have cannot be done at home. I would rather be out of my house performing a karaoke performance to the smallest audience I've ever performed for, I'd rather be sitting in a row at a movie theater or a stage musical even if I was the only one who showed up, I would love to go a store knowing there's at least 'one' pound of chicken or turkey for one of my mom's 'Kale' dishes (Which are so good), and I'd want to have my quality time with my friends because at least I wouldn't feel alone (Granted, I'm still living at home with my parents but that's besides the point).

The fact is and I tell this to myself: What good will it do for me to 'survive' if I'm not 'living' long enough to do it? People like me are going to get through this either way, I just don't want to be afraid.

5229591
Yes, I have been occuping myself and not listening to the reports but I am concerned for the world.

Panic does make things look bigger than they are.

5229701
I understand. I rather be at school, seeing my friends and my teachers, playing my flute, and not have to listen to the news talk about Coronavirus.

We should have reacted sooner. NYC's mayor is a failure who told people things were alright and to enjoy themselves, this is what happens. God I hope this ends soon

5232651
I know that we should have reacted faster but we didn't and here we are having trouble. I want this Coronavirus breakout to end soon!

5232632
Thank you so much for understanding. That actually means a lot hearing that.

5232743
You're welcome. This Coronavirus breakout stuff has worn me out and I am not liking it.

5232764
It's taking it's toll on a ton of us. Can hardly go through one day without someone bringing it up. As for me, I just try to treat each day like it's still normal. I still wake up in the morning, I eat my cereal and coffee, brush my teeth, comb my hair, drive to work, perform my 7.5 hours a day (With a half hour lunch), and then when the day is over I come home. It's like this whole virus ordeal is just an extra bonus, just another obstacle and yet I'm still trying to 'live'.

5232826
I do the same for my days, just treat them normal like.
I think it's also working me and my boyfriend a little bit. He's not very talkative right now and I am getting worried.

5232651
A lot of people who should have taken this seriously at the start dropped the ball:facehoof:

5232628
It's the ones who claim that this is Divine Judgment that get on my nerves the most.
I'll gladly read a thousand reports of under-equipped hospitals full of sick children before I validate a single person who takes this as an opportunity to win 'Fear Converts':twilightangry2:

5232836
I'm sure he's just having it as tough as you are. You know how hard it is for me to keep in touch with most of my friends? Unless I'm really good at keeping track with everyone on any form of social media I can think of, I might as well be shut out from the rest of the world due to not actually interacting with people (I mean, I 'do' have other co-workers with me at the office but this 'social distance' crap is driving me nuts). I can't even share a phone call with one of my friends not knowing that it's their dinner time at this hour, even though to me it seems pretty late for dinner (Then again, they usually work later than me).

I suppose all the both of us can do is hope for the best. Maybe instead of waiting for him to call or Facetime you or whatever communication works best nowadays, perhaps 'you' should instigate the call. You be the one to make the move. What's the worse that can happen?

5232855
I haven't heard about that so far.

5232908
I honestly don't feel like gathering links for every instance in recent memory of 'Christians' claiming that the pandemic is Holy Retribution, so here's one article crediting a pastor with saying that this is God's way of punishing Jewish people.

I want to stress that I do not feel that all Christians are hate sowing zealots, but that's the label I'll put on anyone who takes a serious tragedy like a global pandemic as an opportunity to target a group they don't like.

5232928
People are messed up these days! This virus doesn't care for who you are, what you are, and whatever else you might be.

You do have the right to do that because hating a group of another religion and race is not respectful.

5232893
Yes, we talked tonight actually and he still loves me very much. We actually only talk on here though pm.

I know how you feel about the social distance stuff but it's for everyone's health. I want to see my friends but I can't. I can only text them. I was - no - what I mean is everyone wasn't expecting this to happen. I thought this year was going to be a normal one but damn Coronavirus had to come and mess everyone's lives up.

5232945
This is worse than how Bikini Bottom was dealing with Mount Doom's eruption, threatening the town with a possible volcanic eruption.

Then again, the similarities from the Broadway musical are just the same as this situation:

People looking for someone to blame, to follow, to exploit, or to control, all because when it all comes down to it they really don't know what to do about this situation. Heck, just as Patrick freaked out about the stores being closed and running out of snacks while trying to stay indoors (While finding nothing to watch but 'The End is Near' campaigns) we can barely go to a store to find food or toilet paper and it's hard to watch our shows when most of it is just numbers rising about cases and stuff.

5232952
Yeah, according to my Dad, he calls it mass hyster!
