It's been a few months since I posted horse words on here, but whenever I do post horse words, it's because of my affiliation with the folks at the Writeoff Association. Pretty much every horse fic I've published over the past year was originally a piece I wrote for a Writeoff contest. Sometimes we also have contests for original fiction, and an event I'll be hosting very soon will be much in that vein.
Starting tomorrow, March 19th, we'll be doing prompt submissions for an alternate original fiction group, called R-Rated Original. It's basically a group for original fiction that's allowed to delve into more explicit subject matter. I wouldn't think too hard about it. The point is that in the wake of the mass-shutdowns that have been occurring as a result of COVID-19 panic, a lot of us are working from home, or worst case scenario not working at all. Therefore, on the bright side, we'll be having more free time to work on writing contests and generally anything writing-related for the foreseeable future!
The writing period will start on the 21st, and the art period will start on the 24th. Three days to work on writing and five days to work on art. We'll also be hosting shorter contests immediately following the conclusion of the event I'm hosting, including...
