That's a lie, you should totally watch Arcane. I know, I don't normally talk about media I like here, and I barely even use Netflix, but how is Arcane not one of the best animated shows of the past ten years? Western, Japanese, whatever, it's a much better show than it deserves to be. And as someone whose eyeballs work (albeit not well) I can understand the Spider-Verse comparisons... and not just because Hailee Steinfeld voices a vaguely yet fiercely bisexual chick again (although Spider-Gwen knocks the fucking daylights out of Vi, WE STAN), but because the animation is just that great and groundbreaking. A genuine step forward for the medium and I'm calling you a liar if you think any 3D animated show even comes close to this. Never mind the world-building and how all the characters develop and intersect with each other. It's not Shakespeare or Melville, but it's much more lovingly crafted than a LEAGUE OF LEGENDS cartoon ought to be.
