Which are particularly important this time, because the first preread I got back was negative. As it came from AJ_Aficionado, whose opinions I particularly value mostly because he’s more interested in the story than the sex, I tend to give what he said about it credence but still want to hear from everyone else before I start making changes to the new chapter.

Next Firefly chapter will launch no later than Sunday morning · 3:54pm Mar 11th, 2020

Tentatively titled “Change of Command”, it’s currently coming in at just shy of 9000 words and it’s going to test my writing ability to create extreme tension and suspense in readers even without an actual battle.

Regardless, it’s only waiting on prereads now and will launch by Sunday or sooner depending on how quickly I get them back. I elected to end the chapter before reaching the major scene I’ve spoke of that reveals the greatest Equestrian warrior, as including it would have required me to double the chapter length. But don’t worry--that will be the centerpiece of the chapter following this one, which I’m starting work on immediately. You will not have to wait another three months for it!

No more teasers, sorry, as this is a case where I wish readers to come in cold to the main suspense sequence. Look for it in the next few days, and hope you like!
