The Flim-Flam brothers were named after us. Flim-Flam means nonsensical or insincere talk as well as swindle (someone) with a confidence game. But it also rhymes with Fim (friendship is magic)-Fan (fandom) as well.

I don't think you need to worry so much. People can understand that you might be having a lot on your plate, and they can wait.
Also, I hardly ever log out, and yet I know the site does show that I'm offline when I don't have it open. You don't need to log out for the online status to disappear
