I'm gonna be talking/writing a lot in this and if you simply want the message without reading the paragraphs below, i'm back and working on the next chapter along with the future ones to come. Don't worry, i've not forgotten!
Alright fillies and gentle-colts, i'm back! I've had a bit of a rough few months and am only recently getting back into the swing of writing on this site again instead of on my private note sheets. Due to some serious stress from school and a few breakdowns, i've not exactly been the most stable, but i've gotten much better and vow to make sure that this story will get finished.
Now, i've got a plan on how i'm doing this, which i've already addressed in a previous post before. This is myself making timelines and having key points for each chapter written down for my future self once its time to write said chapter. This will hopefully make it less of a hassle to make each chapter because I will actually have a backbone to go off of instead of just writing whatever comes to mind and making the story jet off in directions i'd rather not have taken. Like how this story takes place before the start of season one, I now see that this could easily interfere with my plans, but it's way to late to change that and i'm just gonna have to deal with it.
Anyways, i'm also gonna make sure to do my research before putting things in the story that might go against both MLP and Star Wars lore. Like how I originally had Strider say Fluttershy spoke English rather than Galactic Basic at the beginning. I don't want to end up having Strider act like a regular human from Earth rather than a clone trooper from Kamino.
Of course, with all this in mind, it will take a while for me to get a complete timeline together for myself to base the story around. But that doesn't mean i'm gonna not publish a chapter until its complete. In fact, the timeline can quite possibly be modified with useful comments and feedback from everyone reading.
The next chapter will have an authors note where I will explain Strider's roll in the clone wars before he wound up on the venator that was attacked. In that, I hope to clear up some questions on how Strider acts and what he will become at the end of the story, and the others that follow.
So in conclusion, i've never forgotten about Strider, and I will do my best to make sure that this clone trooper is remembered for the heroic actions he shall stride to do on an unknown planet with true friends by his side. However, his path shall not be without its ups and downs, far from it. And in the end, Strider will have a choice, a choice that could change the fate of Equestria, and a certain little filly who has yet to uncover their powers...
