I'm sorry, but I just don't understand the appeal of "shipping". Even the word gets on my nerves. Now, I know there are some that aren't single, but part of my mind keeps thinking that the majority of those that ship are just lonely kooks that love to get involved in other people's relationships instead of forming their own.
Don't take it the wrong way. If you like doing that, that's fine. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone, I'm just sayin...
EDIT: To whoever disliked all my stories after this post, you're pathetic and it doesn't affect me ;P
As a reluctant shipper myself, I am also ashamed of the community and hate the kinds of stuff people come up with.

It's just a fun harmless gimmick, especially for hopeless romantics, no more worse than being a brony or other. Saying they're "lonely kooks" is just needlessly jabbing at them.
I get what you’re saying. Being one of those writers that have nothing else to write but shipfics, I cant really disagree with you. I do happen to be a single pringle at the moment, which is why I like to write. I did lose the will to vigorously ship shit anymore. Since mlp ended, I stopped shipping everything.

i like shipping but sometimes people take it to .................far
I don’t really have a problem with it, but I do get irritated when people take it way too far.
I get it, ships aren’t for everyone.
