    *eye roll*

me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Good Soldiers follow orders... Good Soldiers follow orders...

Looks like from our perspective, Ahsoka VS Maul will be right in the middle of 66...

5190258
Hey, you've waited this long, I think you can wait till March.

So is this really a direct continuation of the old cartoon?

5190305
Yes, this is a continuation of the 2008 cartoon. It's been 4 years more or less since it went off the air with a Netflix only season and now it's back.

5190300
Well, we know how it ends... sorta, given both Maul and Ahsoka show up alive and well in Rebels. Well, Maul gets killed off by Obi-Wan in Rebels so somehow this is going to end with neither dead. My best guess is clones will show up and both will have to flee. Though I have heard mo-cap artists were employed for this duel. That's how impressive it's supposed to be.

5190360
ah nice but I hope Disney doesn't have to much involvement

5190362
Speaking of Rebels, some people are beginning to believe that there's a padawan Kanan Jarrus at the 25 second mark of the trailer

Mace Windu: I sense a plot to destroy all Jedi.

Me: Yeah. And it's called Order 66.

Oh for fuck's sake, can we just get off this 'Disney Ruined Star Wars' bandwagon. I mean, I think we actually have Disney, in part anyways, to actually THANK for bringing this series back for one final season.

5190446
It's amazing how blind some of the Jedi actually are to what's really going on. Dark Side clouding their minds? More like them growing lazy and far too proud of themselves. Palpatine just... helped it along I suppose.

5190473
Absolutely. And Anakin didn't make things easier for them - they just didn't know him at all.

5190635
The problem is, the Code just won't work for someone like Anakin. At least, not in it's current form or how rigidly it's enforced. Hell, even Obi-Wan had doubts about the code from time to time or at least the current one whenever Duchess Satine was in the picture. And I swear him and Luminara were flirting in Legacy of Terror.

no Disney ruined star wars, so we don't need to be happy about it I'm not giving them credit for crap

5190798
You see those people cosplaying as Rey and Finn? The kids? Keep in mind in several years time this will be their Star Wars, so be a little mindful of that and a bit less obnoxious. Disney may have ruined Star Wars for you but it also created a whole new generation of fans. Remember, you were probably raised on Phantom and such and a few of us think it's terrible.

What amuses me is a lot of people canced their Disney+ subscription once The Mandalorian season finished, terrible idea IMO since there is so much other content avaible on the service, and now this drops. They planned this for a while as well to fill the gap I'd imagine.

Haven't watched the show myself yet but I've heard a lot about it and I imagine people are now scrambling to try and reactivate their subscriptions. A fact that amuses me greatly.

Also it is so damn refreshing to see some one who admits They aren't a fan of the new star wars but isn't going on and on about it ruining things.

Oh, yes beyond terrible given that Mando's got a second season on the way, aside from the fact that this is coming. Plus, hell every Disney movie and show ever made, and every Marvel movie plus some Nat Geo stuff? I mean, all things considered it's really not a terrible prospect.

Mandolorian is both a good show and an admittedly average show in some respects. To be fair, it's Dave Filoni so he takes his time to build stuff up. The first few episodes of the series are devoted to character building and are... admittedly generic sci-fi in some spots but there is a space western feel about it. Plus, the Child. Just.. the Child. But yeah, I imagine certain parties are now scrambling to reactivate their services. Um, whoops?

Umm uh here's the thing I don't care I just want good writing

5191136
Oh I saw Mando's sorry and loved it fter the first episode and can't wait for season 2, I meant the show in the trailer.

Sorry for the confusion.

5191407
I'm just amazed that the Darksaber is being used. That, of all the works in the new canon was about the last thing I expected. I am curious if Tarre Vizsla and his Jedi loyalties have been forgotten by Mandalore or erased via the Empire, which is entirely possible.

But still, this ending shot? Brrrrrr...

(And this is hardly a spoiler by now, is it?)

5191484
Yeah, I knew he was alive as his fighter didn't explode and the whole time I was thinking "go check, if you don't check he could have survived that!"

Yup he survived.

Honestly I can't figure out a single part of that show I didn't love. It was just so damn good.

5191614
Eh, it took me a while to actually love the show, largely because like I mentioned it's slow to build up. For the first few episodes, at times it feels like generic sci-fi with a bit of space western thrown in.
