I'm feeling like I let myself down. I'm pretty sure all of you are aware of my very first clopfic known as Equestria Girls: Case Closed and how it's made me the clopfic writer I am today, well maybe I should tell you guys something.
When I was starting out as a clopfic writer and I had written EQG Case Closed, I had the whole story planned out to end in the way I visioned, but due to someone's love for a certain character, I had to change the perfect ending and now I feel like I've ruined my own creation just because of the fact that my friend wanted to be with one of the characters and now my whole story feels like it's going out of whack.
I just don't know what to do with it anymore now that I've gotten votes from everyone saying they want to see it re-written and it's made me feel like what I made before wasn't worth the struggles, so now here I am, lost in thought of what I should do with my first clopfic masterpiece.
I believe you should write the story the way you feel it should be. Your friend will or at least should understand.

I have an obsession with Rainbow Dash and I can't read stories with her being with someone else!! Izzy even said it himself, if he had known about me before he wrote it, he would've changed the original story! But since he didn't, I ended up ruining his amazing story!! I ruined it entirely! Now you guys know the truth.... you guys know the truth.... I can't take this guilt anymore..... so if you see BlazingDash in his stories... throw your hate and annoyance at me because I fucking deserve it okay?! I deserve all of it... I deserve every bit of your hate from you all. I am so sorry... I am so sorry guys... I don't expect to be forgiven... I'm so sorry for what I did... I ruined everything.

how can I write it back to how it was before all this happened? Everyone wanted a rewrite of it because my friend recommended they vote on it, so how can I change it back after that?

I’m going to agree with that. If you have a complete plan for what’s going to happen from the beginning to the end of the story, and you like that plan, stick to it. Your friend should understand.
And if they really want it, you could make the hookup as a non-cannon gift for them or something.

Dude, don't feel too bad. But be more careful next time, I know how you feel about certain ships. But ultimately, it is up to them, not us and what you could do is make your own story that you are proud of, instead of feeling bad all the time, write something that you enjoy.

No. I can't keep myself under control and you know it... I can never find the will to write but I'm willing to help Izzy with his stories because I know people will like his stories but... I always feel like my stories would be hated. So I figured helping him with his stories in exchange for my OC to be shipped with Rainbow Dash would be a better option.... but I'm scared people will hate my stories.... everyone who is upset with the changes just send the hate to me. Okay? I'm your punching bag.
You need to do what make yous happy not what makes others happy this is your creation and yours alone.
Dont let other people influence your plans, You should write a story that you want to write not a story your friend wants to see.
The other option is to have 2 endings, The normal original ending that you had planned and then the alternate ending that your friend wants.

As much as I would like the original story to go back to the way it was, I just don’t know what to say about all this.
I feel your pain, my friend. I'm kinda the same way with my Saiyan story. I thought it'd be best to let my fans vote on what to happen but now I'm starting to think I should go how I had it originally planned. Because someone once told me, if I go by what people say I should do or want me to do, then I deny the chance to show I how had the plot originally. So if you want my opinion, go by how you had it planned originally because that's what I'm gonna do with mine.
Yeah, I know what does that feel, but I've been told that when you write a story, do it for yourself and not for someone else, and you should do it the way you want to see, no matter if the readers like it or not, but as long as you feel is good for the story, then go for it.

Why? Its really easy. You have a normal ending and then you have another chapter called "Alternate ending" Its simple.
This is something I did with the final "Terror in Equestria" story. I wrote the ending I originally planned where all of Eqqus was destroyed and everything died but I wrote an alternate ending, one where it wasn't destroyed and that led to a separate story where the villain felt remorse, traveled back in time and stopped all the evil from ever starting. Alternate endings are great for those who have their plan set in stone but then a friend would like to see something else.
