Just saw that. Terrible loss.
For me, Rush is one of those bands that's actually worse than the sum of its parts. Like, I fully acknowledge and respect the talent of the people involved, especially Neil. Dude was easily one of the best drummers ever. However, I just... really don't like their music.
Damn.
Pour one out for the fallen, lads.
Came here to post that Subdivisions is one of the greatest songs of all time, then saw you already posted it. All the boomer music icons are wasting away, but thankfully their music lives on forever.
Neil was a god, like a god amongst drummers. He will be remembered.
Yeah, Neil Peart was one of the best (if not THE) best drummers around. We've lost one of the greats.
