New Story: The Lies We Tell Ourselves

First story of the new year!

This story was inspired by a lot of playing the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, the final season of The Man in the High Castle, and the Nightmare Moon timeline of the season 5 finale to serve as the modified setting. It was a fun (and dark) little thing to work on, especially since I have a soft spot for stories where the good guys lose and things go to shit. This just takes place in the aftermath of that and asks an important question: what is life like when the war is done, the conquerors have their parade, and the old regime is no more? Well, Rarity and her friends get to find out in this world with no sonic rainboom, no Twilight Sparkle coming to Ponyville, and no elements of harmony to stop the revenge of the mare in the moon.
