Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things."

What this verse specifically means, among others, is that we should fill our minds and hearts with purity and goodness. We should fill ourselves with the knowledge of the Lord and what the Bible offers us, as well as let him into our lives and model ourselves after him until the day we die.

We must never let our minds and hearts be filled to the brim with despicable things, such as overly violent-natured films and shows, pornography, and so much more. If we do...well, the rewards for that will not be a pat on the back or a toast, that's for sure.
