Happy Turkey Day! Also, What I am Thankful For! · 1:41am Nov 29th, 2019

Hey all!
First, I would like to wish everyone who celebrates it, and even those who don't, a Happy Thanksgiving!

On this day we often try to think about the things that we are thankful for, and though I'm not usually one to celebrate such things, Holidays aren't exactly my forte lol, I would like to list a few of the things I'm thankful for.

The first of course would be the show staff at Hasbro who helped bring us a show that has lasted for so many years as a milestone in many of our lives and our works. Lauren Faust had planted the seeds for what was meant to be a simple gem, only for it to blossom into an enormous Diamond that none of us could have predicted. This show inspired a fandom that has produced great Artists, wonderful Musicians, terrific Writers, and stellar Animators. I am so very thankful for that.

Another thing I am thankful for is the opportunity to share my works with you guys. Before I started writing here, I was browsing fanfiction.net, reading what I could find and simply enjoying the works there. I had no idea that Fimfiction was even a thing until I stumbled across it's Facebook page. To quote a certain Disney film, a whole new world opened up before me! The writing in Fanfiction was alright, but much of it was disorganized and the filter system was always changing and confusing me. Fimfiction was a glorious relief from that mess and it led me into the deeper parts of the fandom that I wouldn't have found anywhere else! I became enthralled with wonderful stories, creative artworks that the writers used for their covers, and amazing blogs that the creators would post up to help keep their fans in the loop where their work was involved. I am thankful to the creators and admins of Fimfiction for giving me and others like me a place to call home.

For a time I wanted to write, I wanted to breathe life into my own stories and create my own saga, but I was often in a state of depression and anxiety. Even in the years where I was locked from my account, I could have easily made a new one and begun writing again, but to me, it just wasn't the same. Finally, I was encouraged to give it another chance. I watched as an Artist grew from the depths of being an unknown to an amazing comic writer and storyteller! They're efforts inspired me and had me doubling my own attempts to regain what I had lost! In doing so, I succeeded! I was back in my account and I could finally spin my tales again! I am forever grateful and thankful to that Artist, no matter whether they know that they inspired me or not. For the time being, I shall leave the Artist unnamed, I don't want to cause them any trouble lol.

I am also thankful to my friends and my family for helping me along in my times of darkness. There were days where it seemed that I couldn't go on, that no matter what I did or tried, everything just kept coming to ahead. It was difficult, and it left me with more scars, both physical and mental than I'd care to count. But they helped me to keep going, had I not, I would not be here today to say this last thing.

Finally, what I am most thankful for? I am thankful for all of YOU. You, my fans, my readers, my admirers, my Pillars. You are what has made this all worth it. Every time I open a new Google Doc, I think of you guys and my heart races like a steam engine, driving me to write with as much passion as I can muster! Every time I see a comment that praises my work and speaks of how much you can't wait for my work, I get a burst of adrenaline and it makes me want to do everything I can to bring you the best story imaginable. Every time I see a criticism of my work, explaining where it went wrong and what I could have done better, I feel uplifting because I am LEARNING as a writer, I am growing from your lessons and taking them to heart so that I can do better for you all!

Thank you, ALL of you, from the bottom of my broken, scarred and taped together heart. I cannot express to you how much you all mean to me. And if you'll have me, I would love to continue to bring you the writing that you all love.

Happy Thanksgiving you guys!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Slim Shady!

Happy Thanksgiving as well.

Thank me? No, thank YOU  Thats right, i played the reverse Uno card, and I now thank you! >:V I wasnt here for the original Power of the Equinox, but if I was, I'm 99% sure I would still call the reboot a masterpiece. Every chapter leaves me waiting for the next while simultaneously making the end of the previous chapter flow and fit together perfectly. Normally I don't like read in-progress stories, I get to the end and have to wait weeks or months, and then when it drops I have to reread the previous chapter because I forgot about it. This story is the exception. You update pretty regularly, and the chapters are well-paced and with good details. You describe the characters in such a way I can actually picture the appearance or scene, unlike other stories where I get confused and the characters I imagine clash with scenes. All in all, gr8 story m8, I r8 8 out of 8:pinkiehappy:

(P.S. NEEDS MOAR VIOLENCE >:V)
