Your Favorite Scenes? · 9:47pm Nov 19th, 2019

Hey there everyone! I was just wanting to catch up with you all and see how you were fairing?

This weekend has been wild in terms of work schedule, but no worries, the next Chapter is well under construction!

That said, I want to hear it from you guys, What is your favorite scene from the story thus far? Why is it your favorite? Who are the character's you've enjoyed most? When did you first come across the story and how did you find it?

These questions may seem mundane, but they'll actually be quite helpful to me both as I write and as I try to advertise the story through Twitter, Facebook, and other social Media to hopefully gain a larger following. Having a PayPal and a Patreon won't mean much if no one knows that I exist or doesn't like my content enough to donate lol.

Put your thoughts below and if you haven't already, check out the Discord channel to keep up with frequent information! You can also show your support by following me on Social Media such as Twitter: Shaded Blood ( Fimfic Author)

..... Why are you the way that you are...

Jk, never change :rainbowlaugh:

I have two favorite scenes, hat of Dolores Pony and biting the head of Chryssi
As for how I got into this story? I dunno, I just woke up one morning and bam I was proofreading. Stuff's like magic.

I loved how Dimmed just gave the middle finger to the council

Favorite scene is definitely the Courtroom, favorite character is obviously Twilight, and I first found the story years ago when I first joined, was always sad it was never updated, but look where we are now.

My favorite scene was before her confrontation with Chrysalis, when our Dimmy abandons any restraint and explores her new powers. Second favorite was just now, when the Element of Laughter tries so, so hard to put a happy face on what has happened to her friend, and fails. Those two points don’t stand on their own though, it’s the larger context they’re part of that lets them be great. I don’t recall how I found this story but it must have been Fimfictions recommendation engine.

You can’t take this too seriously as a career because you don’t own the copyright to anything here. You’re just a fanfiction writer, playing with Hasbros toys on their sufferance. If it keeps you caffeinated that’s great, but you can’t live on it! I would hate to see you spend anything on advertising anyway.

Thank you so much for the feed back! And I agree wholeheartedly about the advertisement stuff. I have no intentions of paying my bills this way lol, just the odd cup of coffee every now and then. That said however, there are artists who started their careers in writing/drawing doing just this and that's more or less what I hope to achieve someday with my own original content. I already have an original story idea that I have been bouncing around my head for a little over a decade now, I just haven't been able to pry myself away from things to actually put pen to paper on it lol.

I know I own none of the properties here, and that's fine, I just really enjoy writing about the characters and giving you guys an awesome time, that's what matters most to me.

Ironically that scene was one of the harder ones for me to write, mostly because I had to drag myself through a bunch of legal jargon to be able to get a proper start or sequence in motion. But despite all I looked up, I was not enjoying myself. So due to inspiration and suggestions from a few peers, I decided to throw the norm out the window and let Dimmed Star enjoy more of the spotlight.

I do recall that you enjoyed her time messing with Hasty Vote's hat lol. As for her biting of Chrysalis' head, that was the previous iteration of the story, that hadn't occurred this go around. :rainbowlaugh:
