Long story short: Celestia and Luna retired. We both weren't happy at first. I got over it. He didn't. We had a bit of a spat, and the term "traitor" was involved.

He does throw that word around a lot. He can be very immature at times, but otherwise is pretty cool.
In my case, I was cool with them retiring. It's more of a shame in my opinion that G5 won't continue the narrative of G4. It's a great new setup!

I wasn't too happy with it at first, but I think that's mostly because I've been so used to seeing them–and especially Luna–managing things that the sudden shift literally broke my mind.
But I've since made my peace with it. And yeah, I agree; there are so many possibilities that are open to us now with their newfound freedom!
By the way, what was with switching your name to Vapor Trail the other day?
