So, many of you may have seen this, by now:
And . . . Okay, I get it, the animation style is probably not for everyone. Personally, I don’t have a problem with. But, I’m just sitting here after looking at the comments on EqD, and I’m like . . . Have these people learned nothing from FiM? How many of them, I wonder, sat around talking bad about how FiM looked before they finally got convinced to watch it? Isn’t one of our primary rules supposed to be “Don’t judge a book by its cover”?
Is Pony Life going to be as serious and thought provoking (and tear inducing) as FiM? No, I highly doubt it, and ya know what? I’m okay with that. The fact that this is going to be more lighthearted and comical means that I can enjoy it without constantly thinking about how FiM did it better. Plus, the fact that it’s going to bring back the same voice cast just has me hyped through the moon that I get to hear them all again, before Gen 5 starts. And hey, if this turns out to actually be gen 5, then I’m still okay with that.
There’s too much negativity out there on the internet. Too much hate and judgement. I for one intend to enjoy it for what it is.
