Hello all, I have an announcement to make that's less than ideal but is necessary. After discussing things with the rest of the BV staff, we have come to the decision to push back the release of The Golden Age of Apocalypse Book III. The reason for that takes a little explaining. Although Book 3 is already written, massive changes were made to the story during the production of Book II, Synchronicity, and as a result, everything that we'd written for Book 3 is going to need some major revisions. That was the reason why we were taking a month off from updates between books 2 and 3.
However, there was one crucial oversight that we made: the month that we're taking off for revisions just happens to be November, aka is NaNoWriMo, which both Shinzakura and BlueBastard participate in every year. Because two out of our three main authors are going to be entirely occupied writing original works for the month, that unfortunately means there won't be time for all of us to go through Book 3 and make the necessary revisions. However, one thing we all agreed on is that we don't want to have to make you all wait yet another month to get more BV content so here's what we're going to do: On the original planned release date for Book 3 (November 27th) I'm going to release the first chapter of the sidestory I've been working on, and will continue with regular updates on that until it's finished (which should only take three or four weeks). By that point, we should hopefully have had enough time to make all the revisions to Book 3 we have to so we can release it without all of the continuity snarls you would have otherwise gotten.
On behalf of all of us, I'm so sorry for our constant changes in plans. Writing a huge universe with so many different moving parts is a daunting challenge, but one we undertake because we love it, and love you! I'm personally very excited for you all to see what we're cooking up.

I will add, though, that I am working on AAG 2.0 (no, not the sequel, but the one that will be published). So there's good news to be had there.
