This list is not about my favorite stories of all time. That's my favorites list and one of these days I may get around to writing reviews of those fics.

The List is about stand-out, in-progress works that deserve more love, for whatever reason. In addition to general reviews of the fics, these blog posts will tell why I picked a particular story and highlight any features the reader should look out for. Spoilers will be appropriately marked, so you'll be able to read my reviews with confidence that you'll be able to read the story itself and experience the same surprise and delight I did when I first found it.

The Dazzlings Are Insane

Premise
The Dazzlings, having been finally, soundly, and truly defeated for the first time ever (no coming back from this one, for realsies), they decide to just live their lives and spend their time driving the people around them up the wall. You know, for fun.

Princess Columbia's Synopsis
There's no full-on EPIC STORY to this slice-of-life, but some of the chapters have an overarching plot (and no, not Adagio's), as well as there being some continuity sprinkled thruoghout.

Why am I highlighting this fic?
This thing is feckin' hilarious! I kept giggling during my pre-review re-read even though I'd read it probably ten times already.

What makes this fic particularly good?
It's over the top. Nothing about it even comes close to pretending to be any more serious than a loony-tunes cartoon from the 40's-50's. Even Sunset Shimmer being the Mom Friend is just playing the "straight man" (*snrk*) to The Dazzlings, who are absolutely the Bugs Bunny to Sunset's Elmer Fudd.

And yes, Adagio has dibs on the "sexy lounge singer" outfit that Bugs used to wear.
