Fun with BBCodes · 3:08am Nov 4th, 2019

So I've been checking out FimFic's BBCode Guide and decided to have some fun with them.
Important Notes: Some of them don't work the same way in the stories than they do in blog or forum posts. Namely the quote codes.

Music Fest

DJ Pon-3

Ponyville's local disc jockey DJ Bon-3(Vinyl Scratch) expresses eagerness to blow the festival away with her new beats and guarantees some upbeat, live audience "interactions".

DJ Scales-N-Tails

This year's music fest also features the official debut of rising DJ star, all the way from Ponyville to the Crystal Empire, DJ Scales-N-Tails.

"Bar Buddies"

Former DJ co-star of Vinyl Scratch laments for the end of his career and drowns his sorrow in apple cider, with fellow former YouTube pony star, Button Mash.

This year's Music Fest headlines the act of, not one, but three of Equestria's famous pop stars!

Sapphires Shores

The Pony of Pops herself, Sapphire Shores herself has expressed both interests and excitement in a joint performance with her two co-stars.

From countess to princess, without a doubt Coloratura a.k.a. Rara is the shining star of Equestria's pop stars, and this year, she shows great prowess and determination to shine brighter than the star of her cutie mark.

Coloratura "Rara"

Songbird Serenade

She came, she saw, and she braved in the eye of the Storm King's storm, Songbird Serenade is back and ready to blow us away with a song that paints the magic of friendship with her fellow Princesses of Pops!

Oh, yes I love this layout

Yep. It's like writing a newspaper.

Nicely done. I see you got some inspiration from the newspaper segment of your Mare-Do-Well logs.

Definitely. Though it got too tricky with the Princesses of Pops.

Oh I'm sure it did. Though it's probably the first or so few times you've used this type of writing style just to get this together. It probably takes a bit of practice. The closest I ever did to writing something in Newspaper style was a very brief writing class which I ended up leaving just to take a language course in sign-language.
