So this was an episode that came completely out of the blue. There was no indication of Cup Cake being pregnant, let alone with twins. I'm assuming there was a toy involved.

A lot of my stories are set during a particular season, but written long afterwards, so any foreshadowing is 100% accurate. No points for having a story talk about reforming Discord when you know that's going to happen.

But some of my stories in my ongoing humans in Equestria series were set in the future. And here were my predictions.

In The Taxman Cometh, set in 2018, I said there would be a ninth season of MLP: FIM. And official contact between the human world and the pony world was believed by the main character to be delayed until the show ended.

And in The Best Man, I had First Contact. The date? October 27, 2019. Not too long after the show ended.

One prediction I got wrong: In that story, the portal to Equestria appears the day after a University of Colorado football game. UC is playing at home this weekend, but on Friday instead of Saturday.

So keep an eye out for that portal sometime this weekend!
