It’s been a while, I realize, but I just wanted to drop in real quick and let everyone know that I’m still here and I’m still planning on finishing the works-in-progress I currently have. The final chapters of My Little Planeswalker: Glimmering Oil and Discord Takes His Friends to the Afterlife are still in my drafts, and I do intend to complete them. I can’t give any release dates, however.
I’ve been suffering some financial issues lately, due to having to pay off a major debt for half the year, and to rectify that I’m moving on Friday to a place with much lower rent. Since I’ve been dealing with so much I haven’t quite been able to get my more ambitious projects where I wanted them to go (though I am still currently writing a smaller Touhou Project x Kid Icarus crossover fic in my spare time.)
I haven’t actually gotten around to seeing most of Season 9 or the FiM Series Finale yet, but when I do I will likely post my impressions here. (Yeah, I know. Some fan I am to not keep up with the show, eh? 
)
In the meantime, I hope you all stick around, I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
Well I'm glad to see that you're still around. Hey, shit happens and if people don't understand that you're going through rough times financially then they can go to Tartarus, right?....good luck avoiding spoilers though with being behind on watching season 9, with it having aired in the US it is impossible to go on anything pony related and not be exposed to it.

I don’t plan on avoiding spoilers, since I already know most of what happens from secondhand info. Mostly I want to see how it worked out in execution.

I will admit, I think it was rushed and that there wasn't nearly enough time for a truly epic battle of have taken place. I was really hoping for a longer finale and a final battle that would resemble the siege on Minas Tirith or the battle at the black gate of Mordor.
