Twilight Sparkle found herself in a strange place. It was of light and shape, but not of matter. Though she could not remember where she was or how she got here, the place seemed familiar and comforting.
Out of the mist, though, came a demon. A strange, misshapen beast. Twilight took a step back at its approach.
"Who are you?" She asked. "What's happening?"
The demon then leaned in close, a pained look on its face.
"Twilight," it whispered, "I have something to tell you. There is no new world beyond death. Instead, all that was, will be again. You will live your life as you have lived it before and will again, without deviation. Every joy, every sorrow, will occur again as it has occurred before. Every friendship made, every mistake suffered, every humiliation and triumph and quiet nothing, over and over again, for all eternity."
The demon retreated, its face fearful with worry.
Twilight then remembered. Who she was, where she had been, and all the things that had led her to this moment.
She embraced Discord, for she recognized him now, and wept tears of joy.
"Thank you," she said. "This is the greatest thing you could have told me."
Awww! That was sweet at the end!
Twilight Sparkle possesses a love of fate almost by definition. Now, try telling that to Chrysalis and watch her try to eat Discord's face.
In any case, brilliant way to bring together philosophy and the concept of syndicated reruns.

This guy gets it.
They are underestimating Pinkie Pie.
