    Universes and Stories

It's been a while since I've done a blog post and having recently finished up two stories and getting questions concerning the connections between them; I thought I'd go ahead and outline the universes of my currently published stories as well as those planned or already in the works. I'll list the stories of each universe in chronological order. Hopefully this will give you all a good idea why I

    Been a while.

Well it's been a bit since I made a blog post. So much has happened. Particularly my recovery from my injuries early last year is still ongoing, though most of what remains is regaining the strength lost while I was immobile. It's amazing how quickly muscles atrophy.

    Recovery

Well as I posted in one of the recent chapters of The Blue Mage, I've recovered enough use in my left hand to type normally. Though with how much the muscles atrophied, I'm still a little clumsy when typing and my hand tires easily. Even so, I've been doing a lot of typing lately on both old projects and new... too many really.

    I'm not dead... mostly.

So I haven't posted anything in a while, and it's been a bit since Blue Mage got an update. Trust me, I have a very good reason...

    The Blue Mage

The Blue Mage, sequel to Child of Misery is up. I've already got several chapters written so I will be posting them fairly steadily at first. Though MS Word doesn't work so well copy and paste... I have to go through the entire chapter fixing the formatting when I go to post it so I'll have to find time for that. If anyone knows a trick to get Word docs to copy over with correct formatting, that

Well it's been a bit since I made a blog post. So much has happened. Particularly my recovery from my injuries early last year is still ongoing, though most of what remains is regaining the strength lost while I was immobile. It's amazing how quickly muscles atrophy.

As for my writing, well, there my problem has been trying to do too much at once. I have so many stories I've been working on that progress on any of them has been slow. I'm really trying to focus more. Fortunately I only have two stories in progress on the site, but then there's at least a couple sequels that I haven't started posting yet. Then there's several other stories that I've started that aren't linked to any of my other stories. Of those, who knows if I'll ever get them far enough along to actually post them. Most have at least a few chapters written though.

For the stories I have in progress, Midnight Star: Recovery, is written so each chapter is a one shot story of something that happens, I have another finished that will be posted soon, as for The Blue Mage; I have the next chapter about 2/3 done, and after that the next two chapters are already written. That will take that story nearly to completion. And yes, there are more stories planned in that series, including a prequel that will tell the story of the purge, and Achlys' involvement in the extermination of the alicorns. So that will be fun.

In addition I have another shorter story that I'm working on that I may start posting soon. I intend to have that one almost done before I start posting it, and it's already getting close. All said and done, it will probably be around 20k words long, so fairly short, as for what it's about, well here's a clue:

Thanks, like I said, it's mostly a matter of building up strength at this point. I do have more stories in the works for Midnight Star, crazy to think I first wrote that almost six years ago now... time flies.
