SunTrix all the way. Don't get me wrong, I love Pinkie, but she somehow seems like a poor match for Sunset.

I dunno; Sunset likes to laugh and she seems to get along best with Pinkie out of everyone in the group besides Twilight of course lol. But fair enough.
I think Sunpie. Lot of more fun and silliness to come from that. hehe
Hmm, that's tough. I'm a little shy on Trixie because both her and Sunset have strong personalities, and would likely butt heads on the regular. But, at the same time, Sunset's got enough strength of presence to maybe reign in Trix, and make her feel like she's appreciated, which is where I imagine most of her issues derive.
Pinkie, on the other hand, has been shown to drive Sunset up the wall, yet is also someone that can make her smile, and provide a little chaos to her order. And, they're already good friends, which provides a strong foundation for a relationship.
If I was staring down a black mamba and had to give an answer, I'd say Pinkie would potentially provide a slightly more healthy relationship, so I'm going to go with her.

Very good points; Pinkie I am sure would always want to make sure Sunset was happy and would help keep her not just on her toes but also in a good mood because Sunset can tend to worry a lot or have a temper so I imagine Pinkie would be lovely for contrasting that. Pinkie also has a lot of energy which I am sure Sunset would LOVE to get to experience in a more intimate way

I like to think Sunset works best with someone who challenges her; Pinkie seems more likely to make her immature in my headcanon, while Trixie would push them both to grow.

Well true in a sense however Pinkie is the more immature one between them Sunset would find it a challenge to help Pinkie mature; plus Pinkie has sisters so I can just imagine all the funny and awkward interactions she would have with Maud, Limestone and Marble.

That would also be a challenge because I imagine Limestone not liking her much because she used to bully Pinkie Pie and Maud is(as far as Sunset is concerned) an emotionally dead zombie. So that would be the test of how well she would get along with the pie sisters.
hhmmm... both are very similar and each offer their challenges...
I might just have to go with Pinkie on the sheer ground that we have more canon interactions to draw their relationship from.
"Forgotten Friendship" gave us our only real Trixie/Sunset interaction, and they seemed more like friends in the end.
But then, what do I know? Sunset seems to fit in all the ships

Sunset and Trixie do really come off more as friends; to that I can agree. So yeah I may just end up going with Pinkie because there is more to work with there.
Suntrix, it would be a more interesting pairing due to the fact that people know more about Pinkie Pie than they do about Trixie. Pinkie has had 100 times more screen time in the eqg movies so Trixie has limitless potential for character growth so any story could go thousands of different directions for a thousand more different reasons. Trixie can be anything you want her to be and it would be good for Sunset to have someone to befriend so their relationship is a slow burn or it could be a explosion of emotion or even a rollercoaster of issues. Trixie is an enigma to begin with and the only real screen time she has had was during Rainbow Rocks where her worst traits were being amplified because of the sirens.
Also I haven't seen forgotten friendship yet.

Fair point and Sunset I am sure would love to help Trixie with her magic shows. Sunset loves magic and seems like she would make a great performer. And she could also help keep Trixie's massive hubris in check
If I had to choose from these two, it'd be SunTrix. I'm all for SunLight though.

I do think Trixie and Sunset can indeed relate and could end up having a lot of chemistry, especially since magic is a big part of their lives respectively maybe even as far as an official relationship but at the same time Sunset and Pinkie just seem to have a better connection and act as great opposites for each other and in a relarelationshi, I could see them balancing each other out. However for me, after thinking about it, it’s a 50/50 split down the middle.
