There were a lot of things I expected when I submitted Apples at Sunset. One of them was not the top feature spot and a bunch of followers. I'm going to count that as 'sufficient interest' and continue the story. However, I am first going to start converting my other clop story (Purpledom, or Twilight Sparkle Goes Estrus All Over Your Ass) from greentext and edit Apples to remove all the 'Anon' references. Now, after seeing all the comments, it seems like an obvious thing I should have done in the first place, but I'm pretty new to both clopfics and second-person present in general.
I'm going to need to get my thoughts sorted and figure out how to continue the story; I never expected it to go beyond a single chapter. To be honest, I'm a bit nervous.
Lots of people really liked the first chapter and I don't know if I can keep writing at that quality... but damn it if I'm not going to try.
Can't wait for more. Not really into the clopping thing, but the material was really good.

I'll be honest, second-person clop really isn't my thing, but more power to you, as it seems you've definitely found an audience!

If you're nervous about the quality, then just take your time and have people go over it. Tons of proofreaders and editors here are pretty much available for hire (we don't even need pay!), so you've got an endless resource of people to bounce ideas off of.

So I just read Purpledom 3 on your pastebin, and wanted to comment on it. I didn't see any way to do that there, so fuckit I'll do it here.

I take it back, Purpledom 3 got nothin on those later chapters. I just want to say, you are way too harsh on yourself. I read those author notes before diving into Purpledom 9. I was expecting some kind of strange drop in quality, but no. Nope, that was STILL good. If anything I'd say Purpledom 8 was a tad weak in comparrison. What you did with 9 I was very impressed with. The way you intertwined the drama and dialogue and progression with the clop was impressive. I hate running out, and look forward to more.
