Spectrum of Lightning Chapter 14 released!

I was originally going to release this chapter last week, but a combination of my editor running late (due to his new job, so I don't blame him) and my general dissatisfaction with its quality pushed it by one week. Up to this moment, I look at this chapter and I sort of feel like this isn't the best I could do. I don't know—maybe it's because I haven't written for so long and I've lost a bit of my touch. Don't believe the folks who say that the third year of medical school is easier than the second.

I'll let you guys be the judge of this chapter, though. Hope you still enjoy it, and if you want to yell at me for mucking things up, I welcome your rants in the comments section.

While you're here, I'd like to give a shout-out to one of my pre-readers: Sparkle Cola—author of the thriller The Amulet of Shades. His input ironed out the logical flaws and lackluster writing in this chapter. He’s the only reason this chapter is even readable at all.
