In case you haven't been paying attention, I've finished The Princess's Speech. So go read it! It is short and silly. I might put together an epilogue for it at some point, buuuuut I haven't had any particular must-have gags jump out at me just yet.
I'm being something of a slacker today-- in a little over an hour, I'm gonna go out and be social and stuff, so that's nice! And I'm hoping to use the three-day weekend to get some more writing in. Writing on NON PONY stuff, even. Scandalous, I know. I'm actually getting kind of excited for some projects, but the real kicker is that I've got to, you know, WRITE said projects first before I start patting myself on the back. Ehehm.
Oh, and in other news, I've poked my nose into the FiMfiction Discord Server, and ... well, it's a thing, certainly. I like the idea of chatting with other FiMfic authors, but getting the timing right when there's actually people on there is the tricky bit. Did talk with Aragon about Arturo Perez-Reverte on there once, though, so I guess that's worth it. (Apparently Viggo Mortensen's Argentinian accent makes him sound like a Texan pretending to be from London. Only, y'know, in Spanish). Are there any particular days/times when the Discord's more active? Or do people just see my screenname and clear out? I mean, they're probably justified in that, but I digress.
So yeah. Just another not-dead-yet sort of checking in. 'cause sometimes you've got to tell the internet you still exist.
