I am officially starting work on the sequel to the story. Yes, you heard right. After much deliberation, Rebirth is getting a sequel. More after the break.
Okay, so here's the premise.
It's been six months since the dawn of the Age of Monsters, as the papers call it. The world is slowly starting to acclimate to the idea of the return of Titans, taking up their old kingdoms. The world stands watching anxiously, not knowing when or where a new Titan would arise.
What's that saying about speaking of the devil, and he shall appear? Apparently, it never occurred to Equestria that they should have been careful about what they wished for. Because the Lord of the Skies is quite intent on reclaiming what belongs to him. Meanwhile, scientists work to learn the secrets of the Titans. Perhaps in one case science has gone too far, and now two Titans are set to clash...
Yes, Rodan himself is the star this time. And he's not alone. There are some other classic kaiju involved, and I'm quite willing to unveil the other main star.
Biollante. And yes, I will be keeping to the classic origin story of a plant, a hu-Er, pony and Godzilla cells thrown together and I will be trying to keep Biollante as at the very least a tragic monster. It really annoys me in every appearance onwards from her debut, she's just relegated to another kaiju for Godzilla to stomp all over, and none of her backstory is kept. Well, that's what fanfiction is for, eh? As for any other kaiju aside from Rodan and Biollante? Mum's the word here.

With Bio being part equine, I wander if she'll be able to telepathically communicate. It would be a chance for her to round on her creators for cursing her with such a miserable existence.
