Glad I went to Bronycon · 5:06pm Aug 4th, 2019
Decided to spend the rest of the day in my hotel room. I'm not the most social person normally, and I've already done basically everything I intended to do at the Con - attended the Equestria's New Groove panel, helped with the Family Feud panel, and hit up the dealer's room. I think I'm going to give my poor budget a break, since I actually managed to keep under it against all odds. And I even managed to finish off and update Treasure Hunt! Hence why this blog post is linked to that story.
It was great meeting everyone I did! I may show up for the closing ceremony, but for the most part I want this last day to be a "me" day in the hotel. Maybe finally beat the Beach Mode of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (the Squid Baron and Hypno Baron fight is frustrating beyond belief). Also The Goonies is on TV right now and it's been ages since I watched it.

You play Shantae!? Woot! I kickstarted that game :D I've yet to finish any of the costume DLC though...Or the Friends mode... but I've done Shantae and Risky! Such a great game...

Anyway, glad you had fun! I only ever attend a local Japanese culture convention myself, I just don't know how much stuff I'd do at a bigger con... I tried to attend a local comic con once and aside from getting Marina Sirtis to sign my Gargoyles DVD set I didn't have much fun. The whole dealer room was basically Funko Pop City >< augh.

Well, to be honest most of what I go to cons for is the hotel room and the chance to get away from real life and work for awhile. But I did like meeting people I knew online in real life for a change. And I was able to get some swag without needing to pay Amazon shipping fees. Plus it's just fun to go to Baltimore - I've never been to Maryland before.
And yeah, I've played Risky's Revenge, The Pirate's Curse, and Half-Genie Hero. And I'm definitely looking forward to Shantae 5 - and I really hope that the hype is real and Shantae dances her way into Super Smash Bros.
