Why yes, I am at BronyCon. · 11:05pm Aug 2nd, 2019
And it’s .... something, all right.
Some of it is good! And ... some not so. As I understand there’s about double the amount of attendees than anticipated. Also Quills & Sofas (which has no quills or sofas) is crammed in with the crafting activities. Huh.
Though apparently The Flash Sentry Papers has already sold out in the BronyCon Bookstore (along with like half the other titles available). So that’s nice. Any of you lucky and discerning readers get one?
I’m well aware one has to make their own fun at a con like this ... and, uh, I’m probably not helping at the moment as I’m holed up in my hotel room drinking wine & watching Law & Order. Might venture out again later in the evening but seriously those damn lines. Like I haven’t even set foot in the Chaos Hall yet.
But still! Who’s up for hanging out and talking about fanfics and maybe playing Contra III in the arcade room? Contra III is rad as shit, yo.
I got a copy! Read it through, too.
Line-Con! Line-Con! Despite the lines though I've been having fun
Haven't seen you yet, though the hotel wine isn't helping. And at least you aren't trying for Faustographs. (It's a fool's errand, but I never claimed not to be foolish.)
But yeah, there's definitely fun to be had. It's just a bit harder to find than previous years.
Hey, I have one of your books! I must find you!
There are pick up bands playing on the stage at Harmony Plaza. I was in Chaos for the Larson roast, and got impressively hammered on their extra strong gimlets. I've sobered up since then
I've got a copy of the Flash Papers looking for a signature if you make it back out of the hotel. Meanwhile, there's a writing panel in Moon in hrm, twenty minutes
