IN WHICH NEW TIMELINE
Okay, good news bad news time. But first, muzak. Enjoy the glurge, people.
Right, now I've mind-raped you with that (and it IS in fact relevant to this blog), on to other things, if you will.
I've had difficulty bringing myself to make any further edits on Anon-A-Fix in the last few days. I keep pulling up Chapter Six, the one where Trixie is a molester (a.k.a. my favourite part of the thing), and just don't want to mess with it. I suppose I don't need to edit chapters in order, but that's what I've always done.
I spent most of last week asleep, partly because it was so damn hot outside. Southern Summer is not fun. This week is much more pleasant. Cooked burgers and franks on my grill. Of course the true hot-season will start soon, and may run through October.
I'm still too timid to actually ask my friends in key areas if I can crash with them while I attend nearby concerts. Something I should have done months ago, I know. I still have two months, but…
Anyway, I was doing some editing on TV Tropes, as I've done for nearly a decade, when I came across the trope "Stylistic Suck". The song I linked at the top is one of the entries -- a couple of musicians conducted a poll wherein they asked people, in quite a lot of detail, what music styles and instruments they did and did not like -- specifically it is the scientifically verified "Most Popular Song". Parts of it sound to me a lot like what Phil Collins was doing back in the day (and his drumming style is parodied).
The "Least Wanted/Popular Song", for the record, is over twenty minutes long. I'll post it once I actually have a story ready for y'all.
What do songs-by-poll-data have to do with anything? Well, it made me realize I haven't written a shitpost story in awhile. So that's what I decided to do.
Have any of y'all been in this fandom long enough to remember EQUESTRIA GIRLS? (the parody series that came out months before the first movie). I'm just going to leave you with that little tidbit of information.
Also, Posh, if you happen to read this, I've appropriated a small bit of one of your works too. It involves Sunset's kitchen.
That's all for now. Look forward to some real (fictional) shit!
Peace out.
Ask them ASAP. The sooner you do the more likely they'll say 'yes.' Because it means they can plan for it better. Waiting until the last second will just stress them out and lower your chances. You have a responsibility to ask sooner than later.
I know what it's like to get barely any work done on what you're working on, and feeling sick and lethargic from heat. I hate heat so much. I've gotten barely anything done lately since chapter 3. Well I do have chapter 4 all planned out, and some other ideas added, but that's about it.
Looking forward to the shitpost. <3
Let me know if you read my thing anytime soon please. <3
