Whoa! I just spend the WHOLE day on an Equestria Girls marathon, trying to get my cousin into the fandom. Starting with the very first movie, the next next 3 movies, the magical shorts, the better together series, and the specials. I’ll tell ya, I’m exhausted. However, it worked like a charm! She’s totally in love with MLPEG now. Although, it’s a lot harder to explain MLP to someone than I thought it was going to be. The amount of questions she asked just led to more questions which meant even longer answers. Few, glad this days over.

Thanks! And yes, she does like SunLight/SciSet. However, she was heartbroken when she found that Flash and Twilight were no longer a thing. xD
Hope she wants to see both Twilights in a special.

Such is life. Of Twi's potential partners that aren't Sunset, I could tollerate FlashLight. Yea, he was kinda a generic nice, reasonably gentlemanly guy. It just felt a little shoehorned into the first EG film. Though not as egregiously as mosshead in LoE.
Seriously, I think the film would have been at least a point better in my mind if they just left that whole forced romantic subplot out (even beyond my loyalty to SunLight, I hate forced romantic subplots that exist only to check a box, especially if they try to shill the character(s) involved).

Great to see you spent a whole day converting your cousin to our cult, hehe. Can tell you that you gotta watch the show before EG or a lot of it won't make sense. Also binged all of EG in a day last week 😂

Wow, thanks guys! You’re so supportive. She’s actually only watched a few episodes of Friendship Is Magic. Then she’s already decided that her favorite character is Applejack. I was kinda shocked. Thought that she would pick Rarity or something.
