    Audiobook Announcement

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on an audiobook for Hooves of Fate. I started with Chapter 63: Rivers. This way, long-time readers of HoF can reorient themselves to the momentum of the story before the upcoming release of Chapter 64 (text) this Saturday.

    The Voice of the People

They can cancel Friendship is Magic. They can cancel Make Your Mark. But they can never silence the voice of the people.

    Flurry Heart's Reign of Terror

Help! My Heart is Full of Pony! - Summer Sun Celebration · 8:58am Jun 22nd, 2019

Today is our 9th Summer Sun Celebration we've shared together as a fandom, and the last we'll have while the show is still active. Why is this important?

Well, the Summer Sun Celebration is sort of the holiday that started it all. It's the first piece of pony culture we, as viewers, are introduced to, and more importantly, the first holiday the fandom had access to.

The world of Equestria in Season One was very well fleshed out. It's internal logic was impeccable, but we only got actual details of pony history and culture a few drops at a time, which made much of the world-building felt rather than seen. The early fandom was very immersed in this growing world, and determined to fill in the blanks.

The Summer Sun Celebration was, in June of 2011, the only known Equestrian holiday, and our first chance to celebrate our shared pony heritage and culture. Today, as we celebrate our glorious Sun Princess, let's also take a moment to look back at ourselves - how far we've come - as a fandom, as a phenomenon, as a culture, as individuals.

This may be a tad sentimental, but Pony really is a lot more than just a show. It's a state of mind.

What a long strange trip it's been. Thank you.
