    Audiobook Announcement

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on an audiobook for Hooves of Fate. I started with Chapter 63: Rivers. This way, long-time readers of HoF can reorient themselves to the momentum of the story before the upcoming release of Chapter 64 (text) this Saturday.

    Flurry Heart's Reign of Terror

I stayed up till 2am last night talking with a friend - orchestrating a plot - theorizing what precisely it would take for (young adult) Flurry Heart to successfully depose both of her parents, and Twilight Sparkle.

Pony Forever!

Viva La Equestria!

Nice; where is that?

And yeah, I remember, when getting on the train to leave Baltimore after Bronycon 2019, seeing billboard display near the station flash up a welcome message for the con, and that felt like part of the con's ending. And G4 wrapped up, and it so happened that around the same time my RPG group was wrapping up our big, years-long trilogy of pony campaigns and planning to move on to other settings. I had no plans to leave the fandom any time soon, but a whole lot of things about it seemed to be coming to an end -- there was discussion of whether we'd see the fandom disappear.

But I'm still here, you, the other people who've commented on this blog post, lots of other people on this site, Discord servers, etc. I'm planning to attend Ponyville Ciderfest again this year, and from what I've heard we're current expecting to exceed last year's attendance numbers -- and PVCF isn't some brand-new con where that might just be new people in the nearby area learning it exists. G5's had its ups and downs, sure -- but it's not as if G4 is uniformly perfect. There are good G5 stories being written and posted, and good G5 fanart being made, and the same is still going on for G4.

So I still have no plans to leave the fandom any time soon -- and it does rather appear I'm not alone in that. :)
