What Once was Broken and Cancelled, has now been Given New Life! · 11:04pm Jun 2nd, 2019
Hello Everypony, ScarFox9700 here,
Now I'd like to turn your attention to a story in my lineup that doesn't seem to belong there. That story is "Wendelle in the Colony". This story was started by my good friend Terry the Human, but after only writing one chapter, (and not being satisfied with it), he put the story on hiatus, before later cancelling it, and making plans to delete it entirely. We've been friends for quite some time by this point, and we'd talked about the story a little bit in the past, and we both agreed that it failed. However, I did have a few ideas for how to breathe new life into the story, though Terry wasn't sure, and said that he was going to delete the story. Thankfully, I was able to convince him not to delete it, and we then got to work on transferring the story from his account to mine. Once it was there, (which was about a week ago now), I left the story be, as I was finishing up my overhaul of "Fear from the Rails" at the time, but now that it, as well as "Happy Family, Happy Life", and "Fiery Passion, Fiery Inferno!" are complete, I can turn my attention back to it.
As you may have already noticed, I've made a number of changes to the title page, though Chapter 1 remains the same. Why is this? Well, I'm still in the midst of editing Chapter 1, as well as adding some new content. It'll hopefully be ready soon, and then I'll release the brand-new Chapter 1, and then continue the story from there. I can't WAIT for all of you to see what I've got in store for all of you now that "Wendelle in the Colony" is back up and running again, and I know that you can't wait to read it either, so I'll try not to take too long with Chapter 1!
However, none of this would have been possible if not for the generosity of my good friend Terry the Human. He was kind enough to not only delay the deleting of "Wendelle" until a little while later, but he was also kind enough to turn the story over to me to breathe new life into. He also still helps me out by brainstorming new ideas for the story, so he's still got an active role in it. I'd like for you all to give Terry a nice big thank you in the comments below for allowing me to take "Wendelle in the Colony", and to breathe new life into it. He deserves it after all, not only for giving me the story, but for also being a great friend, and helping me brainstorm ideas.
Thank you Terry!
