Scary stuff going on rn

The part of Texas that I live in is currently experiencing the 2nd worst wildfire disaster, and growing. Over 850,000 acres have been burned, and several towns/cities close to me have been evacuated. The fire's spread slowed down, just as it was about to hit a neighboring city, although an entire subdivision was forced to evacuate.
The fire is visible from my hometown.

New Office/New Cat · 6:19pm May 13th, 2019

Was living with my sister for a while, until a friend offered me to move in with him. I'll tell you one thing, a $400 single bedroom apartment is definitely a descent from a $1200 three bedroom house. On the bright side: it's more affordable. On the even brighter side: one of the closets are big enough for me to turn it into an office. Now I have a place to store my ego and my fanfiction.

I got a bottle of lotion and a central heating system to keep me nice'n'cozy.

Also, I got a cat.

His name is O"Ed"ipuss.

EDIT: I also got a brand-spanking new (pre-owned) DSLR (Digital 35mm Camera for you illiterates out there). All it needs is a new charger for its battery, but it's in spiffy condition otherwise. I hope to pick back up on my Deviant Art account soon.
