Plans concerning Soldier Series. AKA Where the hey have i been? · 4:27pm May 11th, 2019
Greetings my Readers
I wanted to make a blog post concerning my plans moving forward with my series since its been over a year since I wrote an update to Empress despite trying to.
After speaking to a few friends on the matter I have decided have the fic remain on Hiatus for the foreseeable future as honestly...i’m growing to hate the fic because i can’t write for it despite knowing what i have planned. I don’t want to hate any of my work as well i don’t want to force something out that will be below my usual quality of storytelling.
So Empress will remain on Hiatus while i move onto the next fic I have planned for the series, well solo planned fic.
Someday I hope to return to Empress and finish it, or at least summarize what events i had planned.
For now I will be starting the next book in the series.
Now i will say this next fic is a bit different then the rest of the series as I want to focus on some other aspects of the world other than CTS’ life.
Anyways i’ll post sneak peek here so you all can read it as i get things together.

Pilot: This is Equestrian Airways Flight 3492 to Baltimare Tower, we have entered your coverage.
Tower: This is Baltimare International, we have you Flight 3492. Be advised are reports of mild turbulence ahead.”
Pilot: Understood Baltimare. We will keep an eye out. ETA 25 minutes.”
Tower: Roger that, we will have a runway clear.
Pilot: Looks like pretty smooth sailing.
Copilot: Yeah, sounds it. Think the turbulence will be a problem?
Pilot: Not for us but….This is your pilot speaking. We are expecting some minor turbulence ahead so i have switched on the fasten seatbelt sign. We will be in Baltimare in about half an hour. It is a 62 degree summer morning and it has been a pleasure being your pilot from Zebrica.
That should take care of everything. So what you have planned for your break in Baltimare?
Copilot: Not sure. Never been there before so might just take in the sights.
Pilot: Good plan, city is pretty nice this time of year. I know a nice little place not far from the airport. Maybe I’ll take you there after work.
Tower: Attention Equestrian Airways Flight 3492. Respond.”
Pilot: This is 3492, what’s the problem Baltimare?
Tower: EDF has just ordered all flights to land immediately and all flight entering Equestrian airspace to turn around and return to wherever they came from.
Pilot: What” I don’t think we have the fuel to make it back to Zebrica. What’s going on?
Tower: Unknown. Orders are to return to Zebrica or as close as you can but to get out of Equestrian air space.
Unidentified Voice: What in Tartarus is that?
Tower: What?
(muffled explosions)
Flight 3492 turn back immediately!
Unidentified Voice: LOOK OUT!
(Radio feedback)
Pilot: Baltimare? Baltimare please respond…..
Copilot: What are you doing?
Pilot: Turning around, we are getting back to Zebrica.
Copilot: We don’t have the fuel.
Pilot: Then we'll find somewhere else to land but Baltimare isn’t responding.
Copilot: What's that?
Pilot: Small planes…..This is Equestrian Airways Flight 3492 to unknown aircraft. You have entered out flight path. Change course immediately…..I say again this is a passenger airliner diver course out of our flight path.
SHIT!
(engines roar)
(repeated engine roaring)
(explosion, muffled panic from cabin)
Copilot: We’re hit! We’re hit! Engines 3 and 4 are gone, engine 1 damaged!
Pilot: Mayday, Mayday this is Equestrian Airways Flight 3492. We have been fired on by unknown aircraft. We are hit, I say again we are hit and going down 23 miles east of Baltimare. Attempting emergency landing.
Copilot: Oh gods oh gods…
Pilot: Transfer fuel to left wing, set flaps to 20 degrees….Now!
(muffled scream/panic from cabin, cockpit alarms)
Copilot: T-transferring fuel, flats at 20 degrees.
Pilot: We’re going for that clearing.
(explosion)
Copilot: We just lost engine 1!
Pilot: Come on...come on…
Copilot: We are coming in too steep, pull up!
Oh my gods!
Pilot: Stay calm Spin! We’re going to land!
[ERROR: CONNECTION TO COCKPIT RECORDER LOST]
I'm sure they're fine...
I get it man, it is the same with the PVFD series. I just can't write it right now, so I have focused on Ranger and will some day get back to the story of the fireponies.
