Who survived "The Snap that Changed Everything"? · 10:51am May 8th, 2019
Hello everyone! Inspired by Awesomo3000’s “Something’s Happening...” I decided to make a fic with the exact same premise. Only this time, different characters were whisked away in the dust. The way I decided which ones lived and which died, I used this handy website and reloaded it for each character. You can even find out if you survived the initial ordeal. I must say, the outcome was shocking to say the least. There were definitely some similarities to who survived my story and Awesomo3000’s one, but the differences are more than significant. As of writing this post, 100 characters were given fates (NOTE: This number is now obsolete, but I will not update it), and these are the ones who survived (Green means survival while red means death):

Yea. What a lineup. I decided to include the Tree/Treehouse of Harmony as a character as it had appeared to the Student Six in a capacity that seems sentient if not outright sapient. By extention this means the map, too but not the castle. Hope you enjoy/ed the story!

That depends on if the power of the snap could reach to a parallel universe, considering the fact that Sunset is still in another version of the human world.

As you can expect in a meta sense (there are seqiels to films in the MCU for snapped characters like Black Panther and Dr. Strange) they get brought back somehow. Even then, the tension I felt was so damn palpable in the theatre. When you can, I highly recommend it.

Maybe the portal isn't a dimensional bridge (which would still be affected by the snap as dimentions are technically part of the same universe) but just a means to travel extreme distances. My money is on the former, even though it doesn't really matter.
I'll add sunset later, but Sunburst definitely lived. He's above Zecora.
