Commission rates, Translation rates and Ko-Fi Donations · 12:40am May 7th, 2019
Price System
- The initial charge will be of 1 dollar for every 100 words for any story, that way, a 1000 words story would cost 10 USD but, should things get more complex, the final price can be negotiated but, at least, 50% of the payment must be given upfront if you are a first time customer and I won't write content that makes me uncomfortable. Beyond this the system will go through the following:
- One-Shot stories (1000 words - 10.000 words): This will have the initial charge of 1$x100 words regardless of length and will have the first priority to finish.
- Short Stories (10.000 words - 100.000 words): The initial charge will be of 1$x100 words but the final price can be negotiated based on the update rate and each chapter's length so the commissioner can pay for a price it feels comfortable of paying.
- Long Stories (100.000 words beyond): The price will be completely negotiated based on the chapter's length, the update rate (weekly or monthly) and the story's content.
- Translations: The charge will be of 1 USD for every 10 words, since the translation isn't simple (and I aim for professional translations) and I'm aware that not everyone can pay for such high rates, everything revolving the translation and the payment will be negotiated so the commissioner can feel comfortable with this. I can translate from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English.
- The Commission request, negotiation and updates on how the story is progressing will be done through PMs on this site.
- The payment will be done through Ko-Fi donations.
- Donations can be given to support any of the stories I am currently writing or may go back to write (and said donations will tell me to work more on them)
- Due to the conditions regarding where I live, I may have problems keeping my internet connection but you can be assured that I'll try my best to keep any deadline we negotiate and that part of the payment given to me will be invested on keeping my internet connection.
