Oh, this isn't my epic (which doesn't involve sex at all). This is actually a clopfic that I decided to write at the last minute for a certain contest whose deadline is in a few days, and, as a result, it's fairly short (~3,100 words for the first draft). The behemoth of a fic I've been working on is currently 600 pages in gdocs, or about 150,000 words. It isn't even close to finished. Hell, it's not even halfway done; in the original 51 chapter outline I had, back when I used traditional chapters, I think I'm on chapter 21 or 22.

You bet, and thanks very much! I initially didn't plan on entering, but changed my mind at the last moment. Since I had such an incredibly tight time frame, I kept it to the minimum word count by coming up with and following a prompt that required virtually no lead up to get to the sex. I also took the opportunity to write something very different from what I normally write. I'd say this story is actual, legitimate erotica, whereas every other M-rated fic I've written is blatant, shameless porn.
