    Merry Christmas.

Howdy folks, Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a slightly late Christmas, and to give a bit of an update on things.

For one, I have a few chapters for The Peddler that I'll be posting soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow.

Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

    Howdy folks, GC here.

I'm sure many (or maybe few) have wondered where I've been these past months. Well, long story short, breaking an arm and dealing with deaths in family are never easy. So, most of my writing (along with almost everything else) had flatlined the past few months. But, with time, both my familial and physical wounds have healed, and so I've taken up the pen again.

    A little update.

Howdy folks, Chaos here, I know it has been near two months since my last few posts, and since then I have been rather quiet. Well, I'm sure many of you will be glad to hear that I do have a few revised chapters done for We're Not in Europe Anymore..., however, I had found, again, a rather lack of interest in the story. Perhaps my sense of Artist's Syndrome has kept me from accepting their

    The Answer

Morning folks, as promised I have given some thought to a solution to the problem regarding We're Not In Europe Anymore... and have come to a conclusion. I spoke to a moderator on this site yesterday regarding posting two separate stories, one as a rewrite while still keeping the original up, but he recommended to me that I simply delete the old chapters to the original and post rewrites,

    A Serious Question

Howdy folks, Chaos here. After a long time of inactivity on this site, I have decided to give it a go once again. Now, I have found myself wanting to continue We're Not In Europe Anymore, however, after rereading the chapters that are currently posted, I instantly lost a great deal of will to do so. These are the main reasons why:

Howdy folks, GeneralChaos here writing you in the heat of the night. I know it has been a long while since I've been heard from, especially in a way as this, but I'm making this post to give a brief update on We're Not In Europe Anymore...

I will not lie, I have not touched the docs in months, and besides reasons having to be dealt with regarding everyday life, is mostly due to a general lack of drive to work on this story. After two whole rewrites, and a constantly changing style in my writing, I often look back on the earlier chapters with distaste, and with the way it has carried on with the duel plot lines going on.

I have often thought of doing another rewrite of it, keeping the same basic principle material, and just touching up on the flow and plot. But I couldn't think of redoing the whole story again, not when I barely have the time to touch the chapters I have been working on, and when I know that a small handful of people are (hopefully) enjoying the way the fic is progressing so far (minus the lack of updates, that always gets annoying I know.)

So, as this blog title suggests, I've sort of hit a wall with no grip to climb and no pick to bust through. So (if anyone even reads this) I would kind of like to know your thoughts on how to approach this situation. I know that I can live without rewriting the first few chapters, especially if you all are fine with the way they are. And the plot itself is still, in my opinion, linear enough to get the job done. But as I stated above, there are few nagging issues I've had with the story for awhile, and I'm trying to find a decent solution to most of the big ones without throwing people off, or making this story borderline shite.

That being said, I have had a few ideas for new stories to write, but before I go off writing new material for anything (this story included) I kind of wanted to know the thoughts of the people, and even if I don't get any real feedback, it was good to get this off my chest and out into the air. And do not worry, Chapter 10 is finished and in the process of editing, so hopefully that will be out soon.

But it is rather late, and I should be off. Until next time folks, cheers.

First off, be assured that yes, people are enjoying this, a lot!

Secondly, before any suggestion, could you please clarify the main issues? It’s a bit confused in my wee head. :derpyderp2:

Yeah, I really should have waited till' the morning to write this post, it's all quite vague now that I look at it.

In reality, the only real issue I have with the story so far is how I've taken the Emil/Aryanne plot. Alot of the situations they got into (such as the bar fight, and an upcoming scene regarding griffons) I wrote mostly as filler.

Another problem I have it that this story has alot of age to it, with it being up since mid 2016, and with the rewrites, it hasn't really gone anywhere much, and I think I've personally kind of lost interest among the haze of life, I've just had to much stuff to do. Not really a problem that can be fixed.

But I will tell you, it's nice to have some feedback, so you have my thanks for that.
