This was a really great, exciting opening. Cozy Glow is not fitting in with the rest of the villain posse and seems frightened of both Grogar and Chrysalis.
Sombra would you like some cheese with that ham? What a hammy, fun villain.
That scene with Rarity bursting into tears over Sweetie Belle was seriously heart breaking.
Sombra took over too easily. But he does seem to be God-level powerful so there is that.
Discord, you @$$hole. I get trying to teach Twilight a lesson, but come on.
Can we talk for a minute about how powerful Twilight is? One minute she's helpless against an overgrown chicken the next she's swatting Sombra around like a fly. I think she has a mental block preventing herself from accessing her true power. I mean, Sombra took over the Crystal Empire without breaking a sweat, but was helpless against Twilight. That would put her on the same level of power as Discord. I'd wager she's stronger than Celestia or Luna, certainly stronger than Cadence.
I don't like Discord very much, but that speech legitimately brought tears to my eyes. I rarely cry over this show (it's happened twice), but Fluttershy begging Discord to wake up brought tears to my eyes.
Twilight is so awesome, I love her so much.
