    What is YOUR Definition...

    People often yak at me

    "Try better yourself"

    "Grow up"

    "Improve"

They say all that, but they don't provide actual definitions or explanations of what they mean by all that. It's like I'm supposed to guess what they want.

The same thing follows with fiction, when people whine and complain.

    "This sucks"

    "Write them In character"

Twilight Sparkle Improving Lives? (Friendship is Failure)

    People sure love to complain...

She always tries her best to get through to those with friendship problems and help them improve their lives, no matter how much they reject and act hostile towards her.

She gets disrespected a lot because she wants to help people, even though she's a princess who's saved Equestria on multiple occasions.

    Sentencing Characters (Dragnet Style)

As you know (Or some of you at least) The Writer is the one in charge. The Writer is the master. The Writer... is... God (Of the world the write anyway)

What will it Change? (Trying means Nothing!)

In relation to my previous blog, https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1035717/i-have-to-or-you-just-want-me-to which relates to "Are you doing it for ME or YOURSELF?"

People still get up my back saying I need to "Get Help" "Change my groove" or, and the most often said "Fix your writing-- make it better/different"

I HAVE to, or you just WANT me to?

People often go about saying... "You HAVE to move on." "You HAVE to let go." "You HAVE to Improve" "You HAVE to this" "You HAVE to that."

But here's the real deal to consider. Do I really HAVE to, or do you just WANT me to? That's the ideal.

Happy Ever After (Proven wrong) · 8:59pm Mar 25th, 2019

Legendbringer posted one of his mocking videos again on Youtube, and seems to be confused that...

"Happy ever afters can happen to ANYONE IF YOU WORK FOR IT, PUT IN EFFORT, AND STOP BEING MISERABLE"

And then proceeded to insult me and the way I've seen and experienced things, not to mention seen other people having it.

Well, he's only half correct, but the truth is...

Sometimes, you won't get something even if you work for it! People can still choose not to give it to you.

Just because you have a good job doesn't mean you're happy. I've seen people work, and they're not happy, not even if they get paid for it, or they wouldn't complain about working long hours, breaking their backs, and coming home in a mood that makes you want to shove them into a wall.

...They're not happy.

And then again there's fiction which can/do reflect reality...

Nobunaga is hopelessly in love with the princess, but she doesn't know this, nor does she reciprocate his feelings. In the end, Nobunaga even protected her husband from getting killed (He knew he was his rival) In the end... all he got was a broken shoulder, a broken heart, and ridicule that he's the world's biggest idjat and fool.

so what if he saved lives... he's lost it all. He's got nothing! ZILTCH!!

And of course There's Beast Boy and Terra... and THINGS CHANGE...

Save the world many times, and what's your rewards: Your girlfriend dumps you for selfish reasons, people don't look up to youm you get bashed and ridiculed by your own teammates.

...Not a happy ending, and not something to put behind you.

Again... work so hard, little to no reward, instead you lose more.

In reality, the Police, Firemen, and Meds all have the same thing...

It's a dangerous/dirty job. You put your life on the line every day and you NEVER get credit for it.

Even Live Free Die Hard quote stuff like that...

Do you know what you get for being a hero? Nothin'. You get shot at. Pat on the back, blah blah blah. 'Attaboy.' You get divorced... Your wife can't remember your last name, kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. [I do this] because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so [I'm] doing it. That's what makes you that guy.

...and he's right. That's reality!

In the words of Lisa Simpson...

"That doesn't seem like a happy ending. That's more like a detached tale of modern alienation."

Just because you do good things (Have a job, contribute to society, or let someone go so they can be happy) that does not at all mean good things will happen to you.

A good deed is NOT it's own reward, and feeling self-gratification isn't really going to get you anywhere. (Mine just keeps my health in check)

What, you would go to work and do your job and then refuse your payment because "I did my good deed, and I'm satisfied"

No, no, no... you can't take the money. You said it yourself "A Good deed is it's own reward." So you don't need the money.

Happy Ever afters are not promised to anyone... not even if they work for it!
