...but the blow still hurts.
Tomorrow was a work day. Now it isn't anymore. I pick up my last paycheck from Quizno's on Friday.
At least Lizzie was nice about it.
I don't think I'll be on much the next few days. I mean, I still have tabs with half-read stories, so I'll technically still be on, but I won't be responsive. Applications to fill out, family to break it to, ect. I'll be back when I'm back.

I am so sorry, I wish I could say I have no idea what it feels like, but I, unfortunately, do.
I got fired from my first job, and that sucked, because I was homeless then. If you get the chance, try looking into paid internships. If you can find one you'll qualify for, and you can interview well, it's a good way to get a job onto your resume and to have money in the meantime.
Anyways, good luck on the job hunt, and may you have drastically better luck than I have (my luck on the subject = 0, for reference)
Sorry to hear about that. I've been fired before (once after only a week!) and it sucks. Sucks a LOT! But I gotta say you're taking it maturely and I think it's a sign that you are, at heart, a good employee. Even if you're not fast enough for the fast food industry.
