Honestly looks promising. Baby's First Platformer 2.0, but still, did genuinely enjoy my time with the first game.

I kid a tiny bit. As of right now they're 'only' planning two DLC packs, and one outright expansion. At least according to the Steam page.

I'll be the first to admit that I smiled when I saw the trailer, but I wouldn't get to excited just yet, the games industry has turned too many interesting projects into rubbish or just plain ditched them for me to be anything but cautiously optimistic right now.
So take a deep breath, calm down and hope for the best but plan for the worst.

Can respect that. It's been quite a few bad news lately for gamers.
However... A fifteen year old game coming back for a round two? A licensed title that killed the studio, nonetheless? AND from a publisher with a track record for actually caring about stuff associated with them being high-quality?
That's just nothing short of a darn miracle while the stars aligned, and I think those are some pretty good reasons to at least be a little excited.
Don't place your hopes too high. First, developer is not Paradox, developer are guys who mostly made FPSes. Troika they are not. Additionally, nu-White Wolf is a complete joke. Just open new rulebooks or see for yourself these agenda-laced recent adventure games (We Eat Blood).
