I Need To Make Something Clear

I know I've been very absent lately but I still give advice to writers now and again as PMs. Lately there's been a problem which I need to remedy.

    My OCs are my own.
Characters such as Cascadius, Colonel Peregrine, Nancy, Blue Murder, Tybalt, Shadowplay, Tungsten and others.

    Putting My Webcomic Out There

Hi guys. Just to show you what I've been working on all this time.
Deviantart and Tumblr are a bit...let's say shaky right now in terms of putting your art out there and I've been looking for more specialised sites for my webcomic.
So I've finally got a Tapas page.
    The Tale Of Cao Aman

    27 Today And Some News

Hi everybody. Sorry I've been so distant lately.
Twenty-Seven years old today...and I'm told I still look seventeen. Don't ask me what my secret is, I'm just as puzzled, but not complaining.

So I've Heard About The Rings Of Power

So I'm actually quite looking forward to The Rings Of Power, the soon-to-be cinematic series based on Tolkien's Middle-Earth lore. The Lord of the Rings is probably my favourite film trilogy and, while it's debated to this day, I really enjoyed The Hobbit series.
And there's something I feel I need to say...

Mr Shouty: Ugh! I hate 2018! We're living in the worst years in history! I just want to go back to a year when we didn't have problems like this!
Me: What year would that be?
Mr Shouty: 2014.
Me: What, the year when ISIS was on the rise and we were all terrified we were going to get bombed?
Mr Shouty: Okay, bad example. 2012?
Me: Wasn't that the year we literally thought the world would end?
Mr Shouty: Okay, 2008.
Me: Massive economic recession?
Mr Shouty: 2004
Me: War in Iraq and colossal tsunamis?
Mr Shouty: Fine, 1997?
Me: Floods, cloning scares, Heavens Gate and the death of Princess Diana?
Mr Shouty: Goddamn it, 1994?
Me: Killer snowstorms, Rwandan Genocide and the rise of the IRA, Saddam Hussein and Kim-Jong-Il.
Mr Shouty: You weren't even alive in 1994!
Me: No, but I know stuff happened.

Every year has their disasters and their threats, some we even believe we won't live through. But what matters in enduring and, if possible, thwarting them. Everything always looks better in hindsight because we were okay at the end but it wasn't obvious then anymore than it is now.
So stop wishing you were in a year before this because it wouldn't change anything.
Instead, look to the next year and try to make it better than the one before it.

Know your stuff. I like it:rainbowlaugh:

Can't fave blog posts! Agree with this way of thinking.

Eh, I just want a feel for different technology. As time progresses, it will only get worse. That is a bad way of putting it, but eh ... not my problem.

You don't know for certain.
My parents tell me in the nineties, people still thought those whopping great computers would only get larger and more expensive as time went on. Look what happened.
Breakthroughs can never really be predicted or expected but that's what changes everything.

I never thought that in the 90's, but this is coming from the guy who doesn't care. Happiness is my goal.

You can believe what you believe, but you are not going to change an old mind.

I can live with that.
