Flight of Firefly - part 14 in progress

It's just started, with the first 500 words down, but I've already worked out battle progression, which is what was giving me fits before. Best guess is it'll be a finished draft around V-day and launch the following weekend. So what to expect?

Well, as this is the climactic superstorm chapter, in all honesty, I'm probably going to show off my weather knowledge just a bit. I've studied enough meteorology and stormchaser videos to give a pretty good account of myself in terms of how supercells work, and that will be incorporated into the chapter. You can also expect the story of the fight to be told from no less than three points of view--currently set as Firefly, Fell Flight, and Osprey, in more or less that order. Except plenty of badassery but no easy victories. The fight will be chaotic but maps will be used. And there may be one final check-in with the Loyalty battle group on approach...
