You might not see a difference, but I'm taking a few days off writing · 7:27pm Jan 27th, 2019
I have finally, after over two years of asking around, found a group to roleplay with (pen and paper, "proper" roleplay)
Unfortunately, none of us have any experience in the matter, and since I happen to own a rulebook for Pathfinder, I was chosen as the game master.
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm gonna try my best... aaaand that's why I'm taking off from writing until (probably) Friday so I can work on learning the rules, writing them down comprehensively for all of us and planning a short, but enjoyable adventure.
There are some good news for you, though: I have always been a full chapter ahead (the times I got further ahead than that I decided to post an extra chapter or not split up a long one), so unless something happens to interrupt my shedule after that, you will still see the regular 1-week updates.
Also, in 3 weeks there'll be some german holidays + some vacation days I'm taking, so the period of the fragile schedule will end there.
I'm still excited to write and ship breezies, but I also really want to make a scaredy halfling climb up a giant cliffside spanning over a sea of lava 11
btw, of anyone's got a tip for a new GM, please share them
Just remember to keep it simple. Don’t go over board on your first adventure. Being a writer, use your story telling as a way to move the adventure along, but don’t make it all about the story. You want your players to have a little free will in what happens. But not to much free will ;)
